Pathways runs on the rails New Zealand already uses — referrals arrive through existing channels such as ERMS and HealthLink, and results land back in your current workflow. Nothing is replaced, and nobody has to learn a new system to benefit.
How does the integration actually work?
We integrate with what you already run — ERMS, HealthLink and standard export formats — rather than asking anyone to change systems. Exactly how information flows in and out is confirmed with your IT and clinical teams before anything goes live, and where a full integration isn't yet available at your site, we support a secure export-and-return workflow so the value doesn't wait on the plumbing.
What does your IT team need to do?
Confirm, not build. Before anything goes live, how information flows in and out is agreed with your IT and clinical teams — which channels, which formats, which direction. The work of connecting is ours; the authority over what connects is yours. Nothing touches your systems without that confirmation, and nothing asks your team to learn a new system to benefit.
What if a full integration isn't available at your site yet?
Then the value doesn't wait on the plumbing. A secure export-and-return workflow covers the gap: referrals come out the way your systems already export them, the work happens, and the results land back in your current workflow. When the fuller integration is available at your site, the workflow moves onto it without the pathway changing.
