Data as taonga

The health information in our care belongs to the people it describes. Everything we hold is hosted onshore in New Zealand, under New Zealand law, and used only for the purpose it was shared for — no selling, no offshore processing of health information, and we do not use patient information to train AI models. We align our practice with Māori data sovereignty principles, and this commitment is held jointly by our cultural and technical leads.
